Anne Shannon Thompson
Washington DC based artist Anne Shannon Thompson works primarily with acrylics on canvas, preferring the freedom that a larger canvas provides. She explores color, shape, and design in her work using a combination of traditional methods and unorthodox tools to illustrate emotion on the canvas.
As a skilled photographer, she is accomplished in the use of light and space, which carries over to her work on canvas.
